Frequently Asked Questions

Written by

What is the difference between OcularisBoot Camp and Basic Ocularis Training?

Ocularis Boot Camp is for OnSSI’s Channel Partner network. This course educates the student on all feature sets of Ocularis and provides our network of integrators and dealers the knowledge they need to install and support Ocularis.

Basic Ocularis Training is for non-channel partners as well as those channel partners only interested in selling the Ocularis CS feature set. The purpose of this course is to educate the self-installer to configure and maintain Ocularis.

I am an Ocularis customer. Can I take the Ocularis Boot Camp training?

Yes, but you won’t likely need all the information provided unless you work with all feature sets of Ocularis. The Boot Camp price for non-partners is $1,995 while the price for Basic Ocularis Training is $799 for Channel Partners or $1,099 for everyone else.

I am an Ocularis dealer. Can I take the Basic Ocularis training?

Yes. But understand that this training will qualify you only for the feature sets Ocularis PS, Ocularis IS, and Ocularis CS. For larger systems using Ocularis LS or Ocularis ES, Ocularis Boot Camp training is required.

Do I need to bring a camera and switch to the training class?

Yes, we ask that all students bring their own camera and switch to the course. You will gain hands-on experience using your own camera this way.

My company uses Ocularis IS and I am the system administrator. We install and maintain our own environment. Which course should I take?

Basic Ocularis Training

How long is Certification good for?

Two years from the date of the training.
