OnSSI License Removal Policy:
Once a Device License Key (DLK) has been assigned to an attached camera or video encoder, the camera or video server can be removed only under the following circumstances:
1. Device failure: In the 'Removing Licenses' box above, please provide the MAC address of the unit, the model of the camera/video encoder, and a brief description of the failure. OnSSI reserves the right to request proof of camera failure, such as an RMA number from the manufacturer, or dealer confirmation of camera’s return.
2. Camera upgrade: it is expected that in time users would wish to upgrade their cameras to more advanced models in order to achieve greater functionality. OnSSI will grant, based on the size of your Software License, a limited number of courtesy Device Licenses that will enable you to upgrade a portion of your cameras each year. In order to take advantage of this benefit, please provide in the 'Removing Licenses' box above; the MAC address, model of the camera, and a brief explanation why this change is being made. OnSSI reserves the right to request evidence of the upgrade.
