Employing the same video management engine as OnSSI’s larger-scale NVRs, ProSight-SMB delivers impressive features and tools found only in enterprise systems at a very competitive price. It is the ideal IP video surveillance solution for small and medium businesses that require remote monitoring of up to 25 cameras. Video from any camera, live or recorded, can be accessed by any user, local or over the internet, for live monitoring, investigation of events and export of evidence.
The Power of IP
Taking advantage of your existing IP infrastructure, cameras can be securely monitored and recorded from any workstation, local or remote. ProSight-SMB’s IP technology enables the extension of the surveillance system with wireless cameras, and allows connecting high-coverage megapixel cameras and their intergration with physical security systems.
No Proprietary Hardware
ProSight-SMB runs on off-the-PC hardware, and unlike DVR solutions, you can upgrade hardware to keep it up-to-date. In addition, ProSight-SMB supports practically every IP or analog camera by all leading manufacturers. Each camera can be individually configured for resolution, frame rate, recording mode (continuous, scheduled or on-event) and storage location, to optimize your computing and storage resources.
Choice of Video Clients
Video from all cameras can be accessed and controlled via multiple video clients: Ocularis Client Lite, OnSSI’s revolutionary desktop video client, controlled through an intuitive, optional touchscreen-enabled interface; the NetGuard-EVS desktop video client; and the NetGuard browser-based client for occassional or web access to video, with no software download required - making it ideal for law enforcement.
Intelligent Detection
ProSight-SMB’s advanced VMD (Video Motion Detection) will alert you by sound and/or email notification when motion is detected on a camera during certain hours. Events generated by motion detection or received from integrated security systems can be easily accessed, previewed and investigated directly within Ocularis Client Lite. Video of the event, together with audio captured by camera-connected microphones, can then be then easily exported as an AVI file or in tamper-evident database format, for use as court evidence.
