Central-Station Video Monitoring & Management System
NetCentral provides central management and control for large arrays of OnSSI's Network Video Recorders - NetDVMS, NetDVR and ProSight. It enables the visual monitoring and alerting capabilities
required for administrators to quickly and effectively manage entriprise-class IP video surveillance
deployments, including Central Station and Remote Alarm Monitoring operations, which
monitor a large number of customers' surveillance systems at multiple sites.
NetCentral enables diagnosing and troubleshooting problems across the entire IP surveillance system
before they become crucial, and remotely manage
event-triggered alerts.
Upon operational status alarm, clear on-screen cues
indicate hardware and software exceptions. NetCentral's
map-driven graphical interface allows instant access to
individual servers as well as attached cameras and external
devices, for further investigation. Event-triggered alerts
are accompanied by live video, and can be acknowledged,
suppressed or re-assigned to a different operator - including events
triggered by external, third-party physical security and IT systems such as access control, contact
closure and POS systems. If
needed, NetCentral includes a complete set of playback controls for
component diagnosis and alert assessment.
NetCentral's alarm management can be performed simultaneously by multiple operators, anywhere
within the network. Operators can be assigned individual user rights (Active Directory supported),
defining which cameras they can access. To assure coordination, alarms and alerts can be flagged for
alert handling status, and/or prioritized for future resolution.
The source, cause and details of alerts, both event-triggered or
system-health related, are presented in plain, legible form, together with operators' entries
throughout the event management process. From camera names to rule definitions for triggering
alerts, there are no camera codes or cryptic error messages to deal with, allowing for quick response to any alert in the system.
