On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc. (OnSSI), a fast-growing, Rockland County, NY based software development company, and a recognized leader in the field of IP-based video surveillance is seeking an Integration Developer to facilitate the company’s development team.

This position will report directly to the R & D Manager.
Job Purpose:
GUI development for state of the art video surveillance system. This system is written in C# on the .NET framework.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable, high performance, and distributed solutions.
Work with product management to follow the engineering direction.
Develop Conceptual and logical solutions to technical issues.
Document code consistently throughout the development process
Ability to solve problems quickly and completely.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience C# programming desired, 5+ C,C++,C# total experience
BS/MS in Computer Science, or related field
Must be creative and embrace new technologies.
Proven track record in building and implementing highly scalable 24x7 mission critical applications
Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to analyze complex tasks and propose viable solutions for both strategic and tactical development initiatives
Possess excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on verbal and written communication
Good understanding of the mechanisms for deploying large applications in multi-threaded environment
Responsible for planning, processing and performing all jobs in an efficient manner with minimal assistance from the supervisor
A solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts.
Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment
Desired:
DirectX and direct 3d
Familiarity with different video formats such as MJPEG, or MPEG4
