On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc. (OnSSI), a fast-growing, Rockland County, NY based software development company, and a recognized leader in the field of IP-based video surveillance is seeking an Integration Developer to facilitate the company’s development team.

This position will report directly to the R & D Manager.
Job Purpose:
Develop state of the art video surveillance system.
Responsibilities:
Test Planning (Development of Test Plans and Documentations, Test Schedules,
Defining Test Cycles, Cases & Scripts)
Manual Test Execution (Interface & integrations tests)
Test Deliverables (Requirements Mapping, Reports, Data Document Reviews)
Review and analyze design documents for testability
Develop test cases
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for back-end/batch system components
Assist work stream leads in gathering and validating test data
Perform regression test
Document and monitor defects
Involved in entire product development life cycle
Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
2-3 years of experience in back-end/batch test script automation
Ability to comprehend code written in C++/C#
Integration testing experience, especially of data feeds to / from multiple technical platforms or other comparable tools
Ability to document and track defects, as well as produce detailed reports using defect tracking tool(s)
Familiarity with current software testing methodologies, (black box, white box and boundary testing)
Experience with systems integration and user acceptance testing
Strong understanding of software development practices
Strong attention to detail
Team player with strong communication (both verbal/written), organizational skills and the ability to work with a variety of people & teams
Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to move easily between various task
Desirable:
Familiarity with different video formats such as MJPEG, or MPEG4
Knowledge of scripting languages
