On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc. (OnSSI), a fast-growing, Rockland County, NY based software development company, and a recognized leader in the field of IP-based video surveillance is seeking an Integration Developer to facilitate the company’s development team.

This position will report directly to the R & D Manager.
Job Purpose:
Develop state of the art video surveillance system.
Responsibilities:
Develop scalable, high performance, and distributed solutions.
Work with development lead to follow the engineering direction.
Develop Conceptual and logical solutions to technical issues.
Document code consistently throughout the development process
Ability to solve problems quickly and completely.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience C++/C# programming
Solid understanding of object oriented coding practices
BS/MS in Computer Science, or related field
Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to analyze complex tasks and propose viable solutions for both strategic and tactical development initiatives
Possess excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on verbal and written communication
Responsible for planning, processing and performing all jobs in an efficient manner with assistance from the supervisor
An understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts.
Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment
Desirable:
Familiarity with different video formats such as MJPEG, or MPEG4
