Job Description
On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc. (OnSSI), a fast-growing, Rockland County, NY based software development company, and a recognized leader in the field of IP-based video surveillance is seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service support person to facilitate the company’s growing inside sales and customer service team.

This position will report directly to the Sales Administration Manager.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Answer Inside Sales incoming calls and provide escalation routing as necessary.
    • Order status and order process questions.   
    • Customer education on product solutions.
    • Customer education on market segment differentiation: IP vs. analog vs. hybrid systems.
    • Hardware and Storage Calculator location and basic how to usage.
  • Screen & respond to web and e-mails inquires.
  • Provide support to Sales Administration as necessary.
  • Management of sales leads, partner applications, sales pipeline reports, etc. through SalesForce.com.
  • Composition of letters, reports and other business documents requiring the researching, selection and assembly of information from a variety of sources to support OnSSI customer base.
  • Organizes, maintains and assumes custodial responsibility for departmental documents, files and records.


As workload and personnel availability require, may be assigned other duties within the department.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in sales support/technical representation a MUST.
  • Technical capabilities required.
  • Professional phone manner.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
  • SalesForce.com experience a plus.
  • Experience with financial software (e.g. MYOB, QuickBooks, Quicken, etc.) a plus.
  • Highly organized and excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Second language a plus
  • Relevant college degree a plus


Ability to work independently or with a minimal degree of supervision essential.  Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.  Requires a pleasant telephone presence, technical expertise and professional demeanor.
