Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for enhancing, fixing, developing, and solving issues with any piece of code. The senior developer will ensure the tasks assigned to him are kept up to date in TFS, and any code checked in meets the coding standards of the department.

The senior developer will work with the chief architect and management to ensure more junior developers follow process and procedures. In addition, the senior developer will also work with testers and product managers to ensure any fix or feature meets the requirements criteria.

The senior developer is expected to be able to take a project and using its description, analyze it, break it down into smaller tasks, and be responsible for their development either by them or more junior developers who they may be mentoring, to completion.

The senior developer is a technology expert, and will be utilized as a resource by the more junior developers. Research of new technologies and then presenting them to the rest of the R&D team is highly encouraged.

The senior developer may be expected to take ownership of a specific OnSSI product to be the lead of that product.

Technical Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will respond to customer technical issues received by phone, email or the web, and might be asked to travel to customers’ premises to provide on-site support.
  • Perform follow-ups with customers on all technical support aspect placed to the Company’s Technical Assistance Center (TAC).
  • Write-up articles for the Company’s Knowledge Base.
  • Properly document issues encountered in the field in the OnSSI trouble ticket system.
  • Ensure timely escalation of critical customer related issues through proper channels.

Requirements Include:

General Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.

Technical Expertise

  • Excellent knowledge of Windows 2003/2008 server, some experience with XP, Vista and Windows 7 OS.

US Central Regional Manager

Responsibilities:

The US Central Regional Manager (RM) carries primary responsibility within the specific Region for leadership and management of product sales for OnSSI. This region includes, IL, MI, MN, ND, SD, NE, KS, MO. Candidate should reside in the Chicago Illinois area.

The RM is accountable to the National Sales Manager and the Vice President of Sales, in that order, for sales performance and relationship management for the Region. The Region is to be treated as “business unit” for OnSSI where its performance is in direct relationship to the RM management.
